Are You Ready for an Adventure in Sycamore Canyon?

Are you ready to get in touch with nature? Make some friends in your community? Well, we think a weekend hike this Saturday sounds like a perfect event for you! The Riverside Museum is hosting a hiking event September 1oth in the Sycamore Canyon Wilderness Park. This event is hosted on the second Saturday of the month and includes not only a hike but family-friendly nature-based crafts and other activities! The hike is free and open to the public and can be completed by just about anyone. This weekend’s studied topic is rocks! If you attend, you’ll learn all about decomposed granite and how it’s made. The group will stop at various predetermined locations and enjoy the local scenery. Here is a bit more information about the hike.
