Upcoming June Events near Your Riverside Home

June is right around the corner and it’s time to start thinking about summer. If you are looking for some activities to do in Riverside, CA, check out some of these upcoming events.

At the public library in downtown Riverside the Inlandia Instutute will present Literature on the Lawn on June 2nd.. The event will take place on the front lawn of the library from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The open mic will feature writers from the University of California Riverside’s literary journal. The event is free and open to the public. For a family-friendly event, you should check out the 17th Annual Junteenth Celebration. This event features local community talent, historical presentation, food and refreshments. This event wil be held on Saturday, June 4th and promptly starts at 12p.m.

Also on June 2nd in downtown Riverside is the Downtown Flashmob. The event will take place from 6:30 p.m to 8:30 p.m. The Room to Dance, and World to Dance group will fill the streets of downtown Riverside in a flashmob performance. With the help of the Brazilian drum group the dance trouped will perform samba, hip hop, break dance and more.
