Are You Ready For Octoberfest in Riverside?

October is here! And if you are an adult who loves beer, that can only mean one thing: Octoberfest! If you are ready for a night filled with Bavarian music, imported beer. German food and much more, Octoberfest at the Fairplex is the place to be. The event is located in Pomona at the home of the LA County Fair and is expected to feature excellent food, beer, games and celebrate all things Bavarian culture. The Octoberfest is scheduled to take place every weekend in October, beginning at 6pm and ending at midnight. Here is a bit more information about the biggest Octoberfest in the area. Get Free Admission to the Riverside Art Museum This Summer

Museums are a great way to stay busy during the hot summer months while still learning and taking in a bit of culture. If you have kids, getting them out to an exhibit is a great way to get them off the iPad, videos games and television. This summer the Riverside Art Museum will be offering FREE admission every Sunday until mid August. If you have a family, paying for a museum entrance for multiple people can be expensive, so be sure to take advantage of this wonderful community resource.

Visit the Riverside Community Gardens Spring Exhibit

The Riverside City College Community Garden’s Spring will be hosting an art exhibit on Saturday, May 7th 2016. The event is free and open to the public with the goal of celebrating the Riverside community garden, local artists and the Riverside community college. Attendees will receive free refreshments, and be entertained with music, nature and an art show.
